The second bird which was done as a part of my 'Birds of Colour' collection. This collection holds bird paintings having 5 or more distinct colours. Its amazing how nature offers unthinkable beauty that sometimes we overlook. This series is an attempt to bring forward an iota of that beauty on paper. The bright red beak and the white highlight around its eye are my favourite parts of this painting. Deep blue shades add the requisite contrast to the artwork.
